Saturday, September 20th
Arrive at the airport in Nuremberg where you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Overnight in Nuremberg, a city once known as a meeting place for the Holy Roman Empire of Germany.

Board your river cruise ship for your seven night tour of Europe.

Monday, September 29th
Enjoy an additional night in Budapest. On Monday, 9/29, enjoy a 1/2 day excursion to Szentendre. On the way you will drive through the former capital city of the Roman province - Pannonia. Here you will have time to visit the Kovacs Margit Museum where you'll have a chance to admire the artist's statues and figurines. Later this evening enjoy 1st class train service to Prague.
Budapest
Monday, September 29 to Thursday, October 2nd
Relax in your centrally located hotel on Monday evening. On Tuesday, September 30th enjoy a private full day sightseeing tour of this wonderful city, part walking and part private car with a guide. Your tour includes the old Jewish town, Prague Castle and her gardens, the State Opera, National Museum, Wenceslas Square and so much more. Your hotel is located in the middle of the city, making exploration on your own easy on Wednesday.

Travel by 1st class rail from Prague to Dresden As you arrive in Dresden you will be met for a private transfer and sightseeing tour of the city with a drop off at your hotel.

Excursions: Enjoy the exploration of Venice on your own. Suggested sites include the Doges Palace, a glass blowing demonstration, a mask making demonstration and a gondola ride PLEASE take the opportunity to wander the many small alleyways.

A small traditional hotel located a few steps from the train station. Convenient for you to leave your luggage and explore this wonderful city. The statue of David is something that you must not miss - the pictures, the replicas - just do not due it justice.

Excursions: Private 3 hour guide service for a walking tour of Florence with pre-reserved tickets to the both the Uffizi and Accademia Museums. Your guide will pick you up at your hotel.

Transportation: On 5/22/2008 pickup a prepaid car for your journey into Tuscany. Pickup is near the train station. International Driver's permit is required for each intended driver. A fee of $8/day/extra driver to be paid at the time of pickup.
Florence
Thursday, 5/22/2008 to Saturday, 5/24/2008
Enjoy the walled cities, the vineyards, the olive groves and the small villages as you overnight in the Italian countryside. This is your opportunity to explore the walled city of San Gimignano, the roman ruins and the 'monster statues' carved by the Turkish prisoners.

Transportation: Enjoy your car rental and total flexibility to enjoy the wonderful Tuscany countryside. Suggested excursions include the smallest winery in the smallest village you can find perhaps a trip to Pisa or Assisi. The city of Siena is not far from your hotel from which the brown pigment known as burnt Sienna was founded. On your drive to Rome on 5/24/08, a suggestion is the small village of Bomarzo and a visit to the "Park of Monsters".

Saturday, 5/24/2008 to Monday, 5/26/2008
Your hotel is a traditional building dating back to the 1850's. Located near the train station, it is easy access to all the main sites in this famous city. Tour the museums , visit the ruins and the large avenues before catching your train to continue south.

Notes: On 5/24/2008 drop off the car at the train station in Rome. Drive carefully! It's a challenge.
Excursions: On 5/25 enjoy a 4 hour private guide service in a private car as you sightsee in Rome. On 5/26 you will be met by a private guide and escorted through a 3 hour tour of the Sistine Chapel/Museum/Basicilia. Transportation to/from the Vatican is on your own.

Transportation: On 5/26/2008 you will enjoy a 1st class train ride along the coast to Naples. In Naples you will be privately transported to the cliff side village of Sorrento.
Rome
Monday, 5/26/2008 to Wednesday, 5/28/2008
Your last taste of Italy will be enjoyed from this cliff side hotel overlooking the bay. Your hotel provides a pool, direct access to the beach and outdoor dining. ENJOY!

Excursions: Enjoy a full day car service for Pompeii and Vesuvio with a pickup at the hotel. A private guide will meet you in Pompeii for a 2 hour private tour. Optional for your parents is the opportunity to travel to Capri from the Sorrento pier via ferry for a day of walking, shopping and relaxing.

Transportation: Depart on Wednesday from Sorrento via a private driver to the airport in Naples for your return flight home.
